Purpose
The Equinix SV10 Data Center was developed to expand Silicon Valley’s core digital infrastructure, enabling high-speed interconnection between global enterprises, cloud providers, and network ecosystems. As part of Equinix’s IBX platform, the facility supports digital transformation by allowing companies to directly connect their systems, reduce latency, and scale operations efficiently. It plays a critical role in one of the world’s largest internet exchange hubs, serving hundreds of companies and facilitating global data traffic. Additionally, the project strengthens the regional economy and positions San Jose as a key global hub for cloud computing, financial networks, and next-generation technologies.
